Hellooo peeps! How's 2012 treating you? :) Mine's good so far, helping out with the household stuffs. Wonder if anyone believes in new year resolutions? I usually don't because I don't believe resolutions are confined only to a new year. Anyway I've been doing some thinking the past days (free time = zoning out time = thinking time). Maybe if I jot down some of my "resolutions" here, I'll be more motivated to keep to them! :)
So, okay, no. 1: I will stop thinking I'm not ready. I have to admit, I give myself that excuse one too many times. Be it racing or relationships. Just step out of my comfort zone. It's not that hard.
No. 2: be grateful. Always, a constant reminder to be grateful to the things and people in my life.
Lastly no. 3: I need to stop acting like I'm fine when everything is not. (of course I don't break down at the littlest things haha).
There's more but I don't want to bore you all!
Have been following the Australian cycling championships. They have a criterium championship, road race and time trial. Really cool and professional! Greenedge, the first professional australian cycling team, is extremely strong and swept the ladies and men's road race titles. They are surely gonna pose a threat in the european races.. The first protour race starts next weekend (Tour Down Under)! Looking forward to see the new race kits. :) On the other hand, my training is looking very exciting although there's so much work to be done you can't imagine. Haha. Ever since my triple crashes, whatever's left of my technical skills have gone down the drain. :( Learning how to trust my body and my bike again. Wish me luck!
Here's to a great season ahead!
See yall on the roads!
